How the Lists are Built
Purge.cc collects information from over 200 publicly available lists and reorganizes them to create reliable, community-driven blocklists.
Collect & Control
Every source is hand-picked and regularly validated. Each URL is then parsed and deduplicated to remove dead links, duplicates, and unusable entries. Additionally, internally developed whitelisting prevents over-blocking of legitimate domains and services.
Organized by Purpose
Lists are categorized by scope and topic so you can block exactly what you need—nothing more. Our internal processes also add URLs or domains based on the usage of specific patterns or keywords.
Source Monitoring
The lists are rebuilt every 6 hours to maintain optimal security and block newly discovered malicious sources. We also maintain a history of past domains to prevent them from being reused.
